Balvenie Roadshow
The Balvenie Roadshow was a project built primarily using WordPress while working briefly with the good people over at LBi.
The site utilizes a form that captures user nominations for craftspeople all over the United States and a custom back-end system that allows administrators to approve or disapprove the nominations. The site also utilizes a custom feed that combines the most recent Twitter and blog entries. The site has a custom Google API map that displays the locations of the craftspeople that will be visited along the Roadshow and a system for capturing Facebook Likes, built with the help of one of the talented developers over at LBi. The site also utilizes many jQuery elements, including a custom paginator, sliding form, and event countdown.
